Tibco finalises LogLogic buy

Tibco has announced that it has completed the purchase of LogLogic.

As previously announced by SC Magazine, the cloud software vendor is to accumulate the log management firm to expand its operational intelligence offerings, offer users the power to proactively monitor real-time events and move into the large Data space.

Financial details of the deal haven't been announced, and Tibco said that further integration details will be announced at a later date.

Murray Rode, chief operating officer at Tibco, said: “LogLogic unlocks for Tibco an important new source of pure IT and system events. Along with our market-leading offerings in event processing and visible analytics, we see great potential to deliver a completely unique or even broader range of event-driven enterprise applications for cyber-security, operational risk, compliance and more.”
