Salopian charged with UN hack

A man from Shropshire have been charged with hacking into the United Nations' computers.

According to the Shropshire Star, Matthew Beddoes was charged with around 40 offences under the pc Misuse Act as section of an investigation by the intense and Organised Crime Agency.

Beddoes, of Dawley in Telford, was initially arrested in November over the unauthorised modification of computer material stored at UN offices in Germany.

A spokesman for the intense and Organised Crime Agency said Beddoes have been charged in reference to the alleged hacking of information when it comes to 'carbon credits' â€" traded certificates that allow the emission of CO2 â€" and nobody else were focused on the plot.
