SafeNet has announced the purchase of 2-factor authentication vendor Cryptocard.
The acquisition will expand SafeNet's user authentication division with Cryptocard's platform used to give authentication solutions to the portfolio. Combining SafeNet's Trusted Authentication Solutions with Cryptocard's Blackshield Cloud platform, SafeNet's customers worldwide will now have access to secure, flexible and value-effective on-premise and as-a-service solutions. Financial details weren't disclosed.
