Egnyte, the hybrid cloud file server solutions vendor, has announced the launch of an enterprise edition.
The vendor said the HTML5-based user interface allows users to navigate through tasks. Remote and mobile workers will even get pleasure from updated Apple, Windows Mobile and Android functions, while end-users can have access to workflow integrations from Salesforce, Google Docs and Microsoft Outlook.
Included is the Egnyte Object Store, an enterprise-class architecture that permits organisations to upload as much as one terabyte of knowledge via Egnyte's Unified FTP environment, and hold 1000000000 files and feature upwards of 10,000 concurrent users.
In terms of security, the partnership with Sophos enables an integration with the SafeGuard product to give end-to-end security, including mobile device encryption and complete control over data encryption keys.
