Softek announces distribution partnership with McAfee, as anti-virus vendor confirms new CTO

Value added distributor Softek has announced a partnership with McAfee to provide the vendor's software-as-a-service (SaaS) product range.

The deal will see Softek provide cloud-based email, web security and email archiving services to customers via its network of channel reseller partners. Included is McAfee's email and web protection services that offer a fantastic first line of defence on the network perimeter.

In addition, Softek would be offering McAfee's SaaS email protection and encryption, and McAfee's SaaS Email Protection and Continuity, which enables businesses to remain connected and productive during email server outages with continuous email storage, access and use.

As as a result this partnership, Softek becomes a distributor inside the McAfee PartnerFocus programme and should be signing, training and supporting downstream reseller partners.
