WatchGuard has launched a unified threat management (UTM) appliance for firms with as much as 50 users.
Named the WatchGuard XTM 330, the rack-mount gateway security appliance includes next-generation firewall and intrusion prevention capabilities, with users ready to add application control, gateway anti-virus, WebBlocker, spamBlocker and WatchGuard's context-aware, cloud-based security service, Reputation Enabled Defense.
The company also said it includes the power to create VPN tunnels for Apple iOS-based devices, and supports clientless single sign-on.
Tim Helming, director of product management at WatchGuard Technologies, said: âNow businesses with 50 employees or fewer could have the identical sort of security and protection that Fortune 1000 enterprises, financial institutions and government agencies use to maintain out spyware, malware and other web threats.
